Test PrestaShop modules before you buy them
Use this page when you want to verify a module on a real PrestaShop shop before committing to a purchase. A live demo is useful for a quick look at the front office and back office. A trial ZIP is for proper compatibility testing on your own domain, with your theme, installed modules, cache setup, language configuration, and checkout flow.
If you buy after testing, the trial does not need to be removed. Activate the commercial license and continue with the same module installation and configuration.
Install the real module before paying
A trial download is not a mockup and not a limited screenshot tour. It is built from the same release ZIP as the paid module, then protected for your evaluation domain. That means you can test hooks, theme output, cache behaviour, multistore settings, translations, and the exact checkout or catalog flow that matters on your shop.
- Use a staging shop when the module changes checkout, SEO, payments, orders, or customer account behaviour.
- Use a live demo store when you only need a quick look at screens and default configuration.
- Use the product page when you need price, changelog, screenshots, support terms, reviews, and compatibility details.
Buy after the compatibility test, not before it
The point of the trial is to remove technical doubt. Install it, configure it, clear cache, test as a guest and a logged-in customer, then decide. If the module fits, you keep the same files and settings. The commercial license simply turns that tested installation into the paid installation.

Demo and trial FAQ
The trial system is meant to remove technical uncertainty before purchase. These answers explain what happens before and after buying.
Do I need a credit card?
No. The demo request only needs the information required to prepare the trial package and lock it to the domain you want to test.
Is the trial the same as the paid module?
Yes. The trial is built from the same release as the commercial module. It is fully functional for compatibility testing; the difference is the trial license, time limit, download audit, or domain restriction.
If I buy after testing, do I need to reinstall?
No. Keep the tested module installed, activate the commercial license, and continue using the same configuration. You do not need to uninstall the trial and start from scratch.
Do I still get the 30-day return period after using a trial?
No. The free trial and the 30-day return right are alternative ways to reduce purchase risk. If you test the module first and then buy it, the purchase is treated as confirmed after evaluation.
Do I need ionCube or encrypted PHP loaders?
No. mypresta.rocks modules do not require ionCube. Install them like normal PrestaShop modules on a compatible PHP and PrestaShop version.
Can I test on a staging or development domain?
Yes. Use the domain where you actually want to evaluate the module. If your staging domain and production domain are different, include that context when contacting support so the license path is clear.
What should I test before buying?
Test the exact workflow the module changes: mobile layout, theme hooks, multistore behaviour, translations, cache, checkout, cron jobs, emails, webhooks, and any third-party module that touches the same area.
What happens when the trial expires?
The trial license stops being valid after the configured period. Your shop configuration is not meant to be destroyed; purchase the module and activate the commercial license if the test was successful.
