How does the Module Fit Assessment work?
The Module Fit Assessment maps your real business requirements to solutions and tells you, honestly, what fits. Instead of starting from a product you might buy, it starts from what you actually need to achieve, then works backwards to the right answer, which sometimes is a module, sometimes a native PrestaShop feature, and sometimes nothing at all.
How it works
- You describe the outcome you need. The problem to solve or the capability to add, in business terms. You don't need to know which module or feature does it; that's our job.
- We translate that into concrete requirements. Turning a fuzzy goal ("I need better filtering", "I need this checkout behaviour") into specific, testable criteria a solution must meet, including PrestaShop-version compatibility, theme and performance considerations.
- We evaluate the options against those requirements, ours and third-party modules, plus native PrestaShop functionality, checking each candidate honestly against what you actually need rather than what's easiest to sell.
- You get a requirements matrix and a recommendation, a clear mapping of each requirement to the best-fit option, with the trade-offs spelled out, so the decision is transparent.
Why it matters
The most expensive PrestaShop mistakes usually aren't the modules that fail outright. They're the ones that half-work, get stacked on top of each other, conflict in the checkout or theme, and quietly accumulate into a fragile, slow store. Buying the right thing once avoids that. PrestaShop's ecosystem is large and uneven; the same outcome can be reached several ways with very different consequences for maintainability, performance and version upgrades, and the assessment weighs those rather than just feature-matching.
This is for merchants facing a decision, about to buy a module, evaluating competing options, or unsure whether they even need one. The deliverable is decision-grade and impartial: it tells you what to buy or build, what to skip, and why, before you commit money. It doesn't promise a particular business result; it ensures the solution you choose genuinely fits the requirement.
