PrestaShop order workflow gives your store a shared Back Office workspace for the work that happens after an order is placed. Advanced Order Workflow adds teams, custom workflow statuses, assignments, internal comments, mentions, attachments, reminders, notifications and reporting so fulfilment, support and managers can see who owns the next step.
You can map native PrestaShop order states to responsible teams, define workflow stages with colours and next-step suggestions, and keep private notes, files, reminders and status history attached to the order. Notification badges and due-reminder checks help staff follow activity across admin pages.
The module is internal to Back Office and does not change checkout. It is built for coordination, handovers and operational visibility while keeping shopper-facing pages free of private team notes.
- Teams and native status routing. The module stores teams, team members, team leaders, and mappings between teams and PrestaShop order states.
- Custom workflow stages. Staff can define workflow statuses with color, responsible team, completion flag, suggested statuses, and a recommended next status.
- Order-side collaboration panel. On order detail pages the module loads history, current workflow status, comments, reminders, team data, score, and mention data into a Back Office panel.
- Internal comments with visibility controls. Comments can be private, attached to history rows or teams, and shown with mention support.
- Reminder lifecycle. Staff can create, edit, delete, and complete reminders, while the Back Office checks due reminders on a controlled schedule.
- Attachment handling is restricted. Uploaded files are validated by file type, file size, and path safety before being attached to comments.
- Notification badge follows staff across admin pages. The module shows unread notifications, mark-read actions, mute preferences, and optional browser or sound notification settings in the Back Office header.

This is an operations module that works after the order exists; it does not change the customer checkout or promise to improve checkout conversion. It adds workflow structure to the Back Office with custom stages, recommended next steps, internal comments, attachments, reminders, notifications, tags, score tracking, status history and edit-conflict protection. Because the internal workspace is kept out of the storefront, your team can collaborate honestly without exposing private notes or operational details to customers.
