Free Modules — Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the download and use of all free modules offered by mypresta.rocks. By downloading a free module, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to our general Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer & Liability Information.
1. Definitions
- “Free Module” — a PrestaShop module offered by mypresta.rocks at no monetary cost.
- “Seller” / “We” — mypresta.rocks (My Presta Rocks, ul. Spokojna 63B, 43-100 Tychy, Poland).
- “User” / “You” — any person or entity that downloads or uses a Free Module.
2. Registration & Data Collection Requirements
Free modules are not available for anonymous download. Before downloading any free module, you are required to provide the following information:
- Email address — a valid, working email address
- Store domain — the domain name where the module will be installed
- PrestaShop version — the version of PrestaShop running on your store
We reserve the right to require additional information at our discretion, such as your name, company name, or store URL.
2.1 Purpose of Data Collection
The information collected is used for the following purposes:
- Compatibility verification: To ensure the module is compatible with your PrestaShop version before you download it
- Communication: To notify you about critical updates, security patches, or important changes to the module

5. No Support Provided
Free modules are provided without any support. This means:
- We do not provide installation assistance for free modules
- We do not provide configuration help or troubleshooting
- We do not provide customization or modification services
- We do not guarantee response to support requests related to free modules
- We do not guarantee compatibility with specific themes, third-party modules, or custom configurations
If you require support, consider our paid modules which include dedicated support as described in our Support Policy.
5.1 Community & Self-Help
While we do not provide direct support for free modules, you are welcome to:
- Refer to any documentation or readme files included with the module
- Seek help from the PrestaShop community forums
- Hire a PrestaShop developer for customization or troubleshooting
6. Updates & Maintenance
- We may release updates for free modules, but we are under no obligation to do so
- Updates, when available, will be published on our website
- We do not guarantee that free modules will be updated for new PrestaShop versions
- We do not guarantee ongoing maintenance or bug fixes for free modules
- We reserve the right to discontinue any free module at any time without notice
7. Buyer's Responsibility — Testing
Even though the module is free, the same testing obligations apply as with paid modules:
- Clone your live store to a staging/test environment
- Install the module on the staging environment first
- Test thoroughly before deploying to production
- Maintain backups of your store before any module installation
Installing any module — free or paid — directly on a production store without prior testing is done entirely at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer of Liability
Free modules are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We are not liable for:
- Any damage, data loss, downtime, or other issues caused by the installation, use, or removal of a free module
- Incompatibility with your store configuration, theme, other modules, or hosting environment
- Security vulnerabilities in free modules (though we make reasonable efforts to follow secure coding practices)
- Any financial losses, lost sales, or business interruption resulting from the use of a free module
- Issues arising from using the module on an unsupported PrestaShop version

9. Revocation & Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Revoke your license to use a free module if you violate these terms
- Remove free modules from our website at any time
- Block access to downloads for users who provide false information, engage in redistribution, or otherwise abuse our services
- Modify these terms at any time — continued use of our free modules constitutes acceptance of updated terms
10. Intellectual Property
- Free modules remain the intellectual property of mypresta.rocks
- “Free” refers to the price, not the license — you receive a license to use the module, not ownership of the source code or design
- All copyright notices, author credits, and license headers must remain intact in the code
- The “free” status of a module may change — we reserve the right to convert any free module to a paid product in the future (existing users may continue using their downloaded version)
11. Relationship to Other Terms
These Free Module Terms and Conditions are supplementary to our:
In the event of a conflict between these Free Module Terms and the General Terms, the provisions of these Free Module Terms shall prevail for matters specifically related to free modules.
