Demo Shop Terms

Terms of service for on-demand PrestaShop demo shops at demo.mypresta.rocks. Understand data retention, access rights, and usage limitations.

These On-Demand Demo Shop Terms of Service (“Demo Shop Terms”) govern your use of the on-demand demo shops provided at demo.mypresta.rocks by mypresta.rocks (operated by mywebpage.rocks). By requesting, accessing, or using a demo shop, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. What Are On-Demand Demo Shops?

On-demand demo shops are temporary, fully configured PrestaShop environments that we spin up on request so you can evaluate our modules in a real store setting. Each demo shop comes with a selected module pre-installed and full admin access.

2. Temporary & Ephemeral Nature

Demo shops are temporary by design. You should understand and accept the following:

  • Demo shops are created for short-term evaluation purposes only.
  • We reserve the right to delete, suspend, or erase any demo shop at any time, without prior notice and without providing a reason.
  • Demo shops may be automatically destroyed after a set period (typically 48 hours, though this may vary).
  • There is no guarantee of uptime, availability, or data persistence. Demo shops may experience downtime, restarts, or data resets at any time.

3. No Data Guarantee

  • Any data you enter into a demo shop (products, configurations, customer data, orders, etc.) is not backed up and will be permanently lost when the demo shop is destroyed.
  • We are not responsible for any data loss in demo shops.
  • Do not enter sensitive, personal, or production data into demo shops. Use only test/dummy data.
  • Do not use demo shops to process real customer orders or payments.

4. Right to Remove

We reserve the unconditional right to:

  • Delete any demo shop at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: resource management, abuse prevention, maintenance, or at our sole discretion.
  • Limit the number of demo shops per user or IP address.
  • Restrict access to demo shops if we suspect misuse, automated access, or abuse of the service.
  • Modify or discontinue the on-demand demo service entirely, at any time, without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use demo shops only for:

  • Evaluating the features and functionality of our PrestaShop modules.
  • Testing module compatibility with PrestaShop’s interface and workflow.
  • Learning how a module works before making a purchase decision.

You agree not to:

  • Use demo shops for any commercial, production, or revenue-generating purpose.
  • Attempt to extract, download, or copy module source code from the demo environment.
  • Upload malicious code, scripts, or attempt to compromise the demo infrastructure.
  • Share demo shop admin credentials publicly or with unauthorized parties.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with demo shops.
  • Attempt to access other users’ demo shops or the underlying server infrastructure.

6. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

  • Demo shops are provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind.
  • We make no guarantees regarding performance, speed, uptime, or the accuracy of module behavior in the demo environment.
  • The demo environment may differ from your actual store setup. Always test modules in your own staging environment before making a purchase decision.
  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from the use of or inability to use demo shops.

7. Privacy

  • To create a demo shop, we may collect your email address and/or IP address for abuse prevention and communication purposes.
  • Demo shop usage may be logged for security and monitoring purposes.
  • For full details on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Relationship to Other Terms

These Demo Shop Terms supplement our general Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between these Demo Shop Terms and the general Terms, these Demo Shop Terms shall prevail with respect to the use of on-demand demo shops.
