A technical review of your real PrestaShop product feed and measurement stack, for merchants running Google Shopping or social ads. We check your Merchant feed quality, GA4/Ads conversion tracking, pixels and Product/Offer schema, finding the GTIN gaps, price mismatches, broken tags and double-counted conversions before your next campaign.
You receive a prioritised fix list: each issue mapped to its revenue or measurement impact and the concrete remediation, so your campaigns run on accurate data. This is the technical side of feeds and tracking, not campaign or budget management.
A PrestaShop feed & tracking audit before you waste another ad euro
Broken product data and miscounted conversions quietly burn ad budget and hide what is actually working. This technical audit reviews your PrestaShop Google Shopping feed, GA4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, your social pixels and your product structured data, and finds the GTIN gaps, price and stock mismatches, missing fields, broken or duplicated tags and mis-valued conversions before your next campaign spends on bad data.
It is built specifically for PrestaShop. We build the feed and tracking modules merchants run, and we manage real ad accounts, so we know exactly where PrestaShop feeds and tags go wrong and how to fix them. You get a diagnosis grounded in real operations, not a generic Merchant Center screenshot.
Who it is for
Merchants running Google Shopping or Google Ads, or Meta/TikTok social ads, who suspect their data or tracking is off, who keep seeing Merchant Center disapprovals, or who are about to scale spend and want to trust their numbers first. It also suits agencies that need an independent technical read on a client's feed and measurement before they take the blame for soft results.
How we run the review
We validate against your live store, not a sample export. We pull your actual feed and reconcile it field by field against the product data PrestaShop is really serving, so price, availability and identifier mismatches show up as specific products rather than a vague warning count. We load your storefront and step through view, add-to-cart, begin-checkout and purchase with the tags live, capturing what GA4, the Ads tag and each pixel actually fire, with what value and currency, and how many times. We read the rendered Product/Offer schema on real product pages, and we check how consent mode and the data layer change what is measured. Everything is evidenced with the real values we observed.
How findings are ranked
Each issue is scored on impact and effort. Impact is judged in money and measurement terms: a price mismatch that suspends a whole feed or a purchase tag that double-counts revenue outranks a missing optional attribute. Effort separates the one-field feed-mapping fix from the data-layer rebuild. That gives you a priority order tied to spend and decision-making, so you fix what is distorting your numbers first. The full validation matrix and a sample report extract are in the Methodology & Sample Report tab.
Example findings you might see
The report is concrete: 1,240 products disapproved because GTINs are mapped from an empty attribute; a feed price 19% below the storefront because the feed ignores a tax rule, triggering a price-mismatch suspension; the Ads conversion tag firing on a thank-you page that reloads, double-counting purchases; a Meta pixel firing twice because both the theme and a module inject it; GA4 receiving purchase events with no value or the wrong currency; or Product schema missing price/availability so rich results never show. Each is tied to the platform warning it explains and the exact remediation.
What you get
- A prioritised report of feed and tracking issues, each mapped to its revenue/measurement impact and the concrete fix.
- The exact cause of Merchant Center disapprovals and warnings, named down to the products affected.
- A verdict on whether your conversion numbers can be trusted, across GA4 and Ads, with the evidence.
- A pixel and structured-data check across your real product and checkout pages.
- A fix list your team or developer can act on directly, so campaigns run on accurate data.
Technical scope — not campaign management
This audit is strictly the technical layer: feed data quality, tracking integrity, schema and the data layer. It is deliberately not campaign management, bid strategy, budget allocation, creative or keyword work, and it carries no ROAS or ad-approval promise. We diagnose why the plumbing is wrong; we do not run your ads or touch your bids. Implementation of the fixes is scoped separately, and for ongoing technical accountability there is Growth Care.
Many fixes are implemented with our open-code tooling — the Smart Google Merchant Feed Manager, Google Analytics GA4 and the Tracking & Analytics Pack — but we will always tell you when configuration, not a module, is the answer. See all Expert Services.
PrestaShop versions covered
We audit PrestaShop 1.6, 1.7, 8 and 9 stores, including multistore and multi-currency setups, on any theme. Findings account for your exact version, feed source and ad platforms, not a one-size-fits-all checklist. We know the PrestaShop-specific traps too: combinations and their identifiers in the feed, multistore feeds crossing currencies and languages, and tags injected by both theme and module that end up firing twice.

A technical check of Shopping feeds, GA4, Ads tags, pixels, schema and consent before ad spend relies on bad data.
We compare your product feed to the live store and walk the real funnel with tags and pixels firing. The report names the exact disapproved products, price/stock mismatches, missing identifiers, duplicated conversions and mis-valued events that distort spend decisions.
Merchant feed quality
The product-data problems that cause disapprovals, reduced reach and bad Shopping decisions.
- GTIN, brand, MPN, titles, descriptions and Google product category mapping
- Availability and disapproval causes named per product, not just counted
- PrestaShop combinations, identifiers and feed-source behaviour
Price, stock & structured data
Whether platforms see the same product facts your storefront shows.
- Feed-vs-store price, stock, tax and currency reconciliation
- Combination handling and tax-rule causes of price mismatch warnings
- Product/Offer schema validity and rich-result eligibility
Tracking, pixels & consent
Whether conversion numbers can be trusted before you optimise against them.
- GA4 and Google Ads purchase/funnel events firing once with correct value and currency
- Meta, TikTok and other pixels firing once with the right parameters
- Data layer, consent mode and duplicate injections from theme plus module

What's included - and what's not
This is diagnosis and a prioritised plan. It stays honest about the boundary between finding the work and doing the work.
Exact values, tags and products in the finding
A typical Critical finding is: Feed price 19% below storefront because tax rule is ignored - price-mismatch suspension risk - fix feed tax mapping. Other sample rows include 1,240 items disapproved because GTIN maps from an empty attribute, Ads purchase tag double-counting on thank-you reload, GA4 purchase events without value, or Product schema missing price/availability.
