B2B Essentials Pack bundles the four modules every PrestaShop store selling to businesses needs from day one: EU VAT validation with automatic tax exemption for valid intra-community numbers, deferred payment terms for approved customers, tax-inclusive/exclusive price display switching, and the trade account application and approval workflow.
Selling B2B on a B2C-default PrestaShop install means dealing with edge cases native PrestaShop does not handle cleanly — VIES VAT checks, customer-specific payment terms, showing or hiding tax based on customer status, and an application gate that screens trade customers before exposing wholesale prices. This pack ties those four flows together so trade customers get a coherent experience from registration to invoice.
Individual value is €516. The pack saves €117 (23%). Best for shops launching a B2B channel, hybrid B2C/B2B stores, and EU stores that need to handle intra-community VAT correctly to stay compliant. Compatibility varies per included module — check each product page for PrestaShop version support.
- B2B stack in a bundle. EU VAT checks, pay-later conditions, price-mode switching and wholesale onboarding come together at about 23% under their separate prices.
- VIES checks during address entry. EU VAT numbers are validated while the buyer can still fix a typo, with configurable strictness and outage handling.
- Pay-by-invoice with guardrails. Eligible groups see terms such as Net 30 or Net 60, held within credit limits and outstanding-balance checks.
- Group-aware price default. Staff set the starting price view by customer group, while checkout still calculates VAT from normal PrestaShop tax rules.
- Approved business onboarding. Company buyers apply from their customer area; acceptance automatically assigns your configured wholesale group.
- Customer groups as the backbone. All four modules lean on standard PrestaShop groups, so B2B treatment follows recorded events, not manual edits.
A working B2B layer for PrestaShop
Selling to companies raises questions retail checkout never has to ask: is this VAT number real, may this buyer pay on invoice, should prices show with or without tax, and who approved the account. B2B Essentials Pack bundles four licenses that change that — €516 of modules for €399, about 23% less. The first is Automatic EU VAT Checker, which validates EU VAT numbers against the official VIES service at the checkout address step. Each check is stored on the order — number, country, validity, VIES company data, time — as in the admin view here, and validated customers can join a chosen group so your own tax rules take over.

Tax-included or tax-excluded, chosen by the visitor
Business buyers compare net prices; consumers want the figure they will pay. Tax Display Switcher adds the storefront control in this screenshot — toggle, buttons or dropdown — flipping prices between Excl. Tax and Incl. Tax. The choice lives in a cookie, and the default view can follow the customer group. It changes presentation only — tax rules and checkout calculation stay untouched — and a tooltip notes final VAT is settled at checkout.

Deferred payment terms inside checkout
B2B Deferred Payment Terms puts an invoice-style option on the payment step — only for logged-in customers whose groups have active terms and whose cart passes the credit rules. Installation seeds Due on Receipt, Net 15, Net 30, Net 60 and Net 90. Deferred orders land in the Pending Payments list shown here, with amount, term, due date and overdue status tracked until they are marked paid — so pay-later business stops living in email threads.

Credit limits and overdue follow-up
Terms are only safe when exposure stays visible. Each group can carry a credit limit — the admin table here lists configured terms and limits, zero meaning unlimited — and the module sums unpaid deferred orders, blocking the option when an order would pass the effective limit. Marking a payment paid records the date and staff member; order view and customer account show pending, paid and overdue states.

Trade account registration with an approval queue
Trade Account turns wholesale access into a defined decision. Logged-in customers apply from their account; the configuration screen shown here controls which details are mandatory — company name, VAT number and trade references can each be required independently. Applications wait in a Back Office queue with single and bulk approve or reject, or auto-approval where that fits. Approval adds your trade group as the customer's default, a duplicate guard stops repeat submissions, and applicants see pending, active or rejected status without asking support.

Four independent modules, one common thread
The four licenses come in a single order yet stay fully independent — VAT validation rules, payment-term offerings, price-display logic and account-approval flow are each tuned on their own screen, and none requires the others to run. The common thread is PrestaShop's customer-group system — the VAT checker can assign a group after validation, Trade Account assigns the trade group on approval, payment-terms eligibility and limits are set per group, and the tax switcher's default can follow the group. Normal use needs no coding; see each member's product page for the PrestaShop versions it supports.
