Is there a limit on how many products a customer can save?
Yes. The back office has a maximum-items setting that defaults to 50 per wishlist. When a logged-in customer reaches that limit, further additions are refused until they remove something. The same configured maximum is passed to the storefront, so it also applies to guest lists saved in the browser.
